Venues allow chance for relaxation, rejuvenation
After her college days, Penny traveled the world and studied and participated yoga atholistic wellness sites such as California’s Calabasas Ashram, Germany’s Baden-Baden and Peru’s Machu Picchu.
When she lived in Colorado, she became friends with actor and environmentalist Dennis Weaver, who encouraged her to create a meditation CD.
A few years ago she returned to her native home of South Louisiana and opened a yoga studio in the back of her gorgeous home, which is filled with antiques and artwork collected from her travels. Doing yoga in such a tranquil setting will send you away feeling refreshed and renewed, but it’s Penny’s soft voice, easy instruction but powerful workout that leaves clients in a true balanced and calm state.

Lafayette Center for Yoga in a cool downtown location is dedicated solely to the practice of yoga with a strong emphasis on breath. They also offer yoga training and workshops through Yoga Alliance.
