Slow Flow Hatha Yoga
This slower paced class integrates the whole body in a challenging yet accessible series of postures. You will move fluidly through the traditional yoga postures including standing, seated, inversions, spinal twists, hip and hamstring openers, and abdominal strengtheners with special emphasis on the breath.

 

Vinyasa Yoga
Vinyasa Yoga emphasizes one breath and one movement to build internal heat, strength and flexibility. This is a cardiovascular intense, flowing class that purifies the body and calms the mind. The quicker pace of the class is fun and raises your energy level.

 

Yin Yoga
Find the balance between your ambitious, energetic self and your peaceful, contented natural state while relieving stress. This calming meditative yoga practice emphasizes deep breathing and gentle deep tissue stretching. The healing quality of Yin Yoga is suited for all ages and levels of physical capabilities.

 

Yin Yang Against the Wall
follows the principles of Yin as mentioned above and integrates the benefits of strengthening postures. It is suited for all levels and provides an excellent introduction to the practice of yoga.

 

Ashtanga Yoga
Ashtanga Yoga is a specialized sequence of asanas (postures) based on the dynamic linking of rhythmic breathing and flowing movement. Immense heat is created deep within your core that acts to cleanse and purify the body. Focused breathing calms the mind and soothes the nervous system leaving one with a deep meditative calmness. Short Form Ashtanga is an abbreviated version of the above series.

 

Follow the Yogi (FTY) is based on a traditional Ashtanga Yoga practice and the teacher leads the class through his or her own morning practice.

 

Yoga Therapy Yoga Therapy is designed to meet your personal needs. Yoga and meditation have been proven in clinical studies to be beneficial for numerous physical and mental challenges. This class is tailored to meet the student's individual requirements and is available by appointment only for individuals or small groups with similar challenges. Call for consultation.
