Yinyasa Yoga
This class is a blend of Vinyasa and Yin yoga. The first half of the class emphasizes one breath and one movement to build internal heat, strength and cardiovascular endurance. The second half focuses on deep tissue stretching and complete yogic breathing. Starting the class with a quicker pace is fun and raises your energy level – ending the class with a peaceful, slower pace creates a balance within the practice and restores ease to the body.
Ashtanga Yoga
Ashtanga Yoga is a specialized sequence of asanas (postures) based on the dynamic linking of rhythmic breathing and flowing movement. Immense heat is created deep within your core that acts to cleanse and purify the body. Focused breathing calms the mind and soothes the nervous system leaving one with a deep meditative calmness.
